Egypt’s foreign minister Sameh Shoukry met with the speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives Al-Habib Al-Malki on Tuesday in Cairo, where they discussed the Libyan crisis, countering terrorism and extremism, irregular migration, and cooperation, according to Egypt’s foreign ministry spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid.
Al-Malki stressed the importance of strengthening ties between the two countries through a joint committee led by Egyptian and Moroccan leaders.
Al-Malki also expressed congratulation for Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi's victory in Egypt's 2018 presidential elections.
