Northern regions of the country will continue to enjoy moderate weather but the south will witness higher temperatures on Tuesday, Egypt's Meteorological Authority (EMA) said on Monday.
Cairo is expected to see highs of 35C and a low of 24C, while Alexandria will see a high of 32C and a low of 22C.
North Sinai will see a high of 26C and a low of 19C with South Sinai experiencing highs of 37C and a low of 27C.
Temperatures in Upper Egypt will get as high as 38C and drop as low as 24C.
The EMA regularly advises citizens to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, especially between 12pm and 3pm. It also advised people to drink lots of liquids, and if swimming to do so in the early morning hours or a little before sunset to avoid intense sun rays.
