Egypt's heatwave cools down starting Tuesday

Egypt's Meteorological Authority said the country is set to witness moderate weather starting Tuesday, with lower temperatures registered in most governorates.

Mild weather is expected on the north coast throughout the day, and at night in most of the governorates over the next three days.

Egypt experienced an intense few days of heatwave around the end of last month, with temperatures reaching more than 40 degrees during the day in Cairo .

Summer in Egypt officially started on 18 June.

High and low temperature ranges for the upcoming three days:

North western coasts and North Sinai
Highs of 30C and Lows of 24C

Cairo and Nile Delta
35C-24C

Northern Upper Egypt
37C-25C

Southern Upper Egypt
41-28
