EgyptAir flight makes emergency landing in Dublin after passenger suffers health problems

EgyptAir flight MS 995 from Cairo to Toronto made an emergency landing on Tuesday in Dublin, Ireland after one of the passengers suffered a health crisis, according to a statement by EgyptAir.

According to EgyptAir's chairman Ahmed Adel, flight attendants administered first aid; however, the passenger was in need of more advanced healthcare.

Upon arrival at Dublin airport, an ambulance was called and the passenger was taken off the flight for immediate treatment.

A few hours later, the plane resumed its journey to Toronto.

Adel stressed that EgyptAir gives the utmost priority to the safety of its passengers.
