Egypt President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is scheduled to give an address on Thursday before a high-level meeting by the United Nations General Assembly on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in New York.
El-Sisi's speech is scheduled at 7:30 CLT as the meeting is aimed at reviewing the global and national progress in taking measures to protect people from dying young from heart and lung diseases, cancer and diabetes.
Egypt is set to light the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx during El-Sisi's speech, with each participating country planned to light a major tourist attraction during its president's address.
