Egypt’s Minister of Defence and Military Production Mohamed Zaki discussed with his Guinean counterpart Mohamed Diane the latest regional and international developments as well military cooperation between the two countries in a meeting on Thursday.
The two sides also probed the possibility of coordinating efforts to face mutual challenges and establish pillars of regional security and stability.
They signed a protocol on military cooperation, with a view to exchanging experiences in a number of areas.
Diane, who is on an official visit to Cairo, said his country is keen on boosting military cooperation with Egypt, as the cornerstone of stability in the region.
The meeting was attended by a host of military officials, as well as the Guinean ambassador to Egypt.
