Egyptian delegation arrives to Libya to discuss reconstruction ‎

Egyptian ministers arrive to Tripoli to discuss joint projects ahead of Monday visit by Field Marshal Tantawi

An Egyptian delegation arrived to the Libyan capital of Tripoli on Sunday.

The delegation, which includes the minister of planning, the minister of international cooperation, the minister of electricity, the minister of education, the minister of tourism, the minister of manpower and the minister of housing, will be discussing reconstruction plans for Libya, including infrastructure, electricity networks, sewage networks and agreements related to Egyptian labour in Libya.

The delegation is expected to stay in Libya two days. The head of Egypt’s ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, is expected to arrive to Tripoli on Monday to meet with the head of Libya’s National Transitional Council, Mustafa Abdel Jalil.
