Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will be on a four-day visit to Vienna, Austria, starting Sunday.
During his visit, the president will hold talks with Swiss Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, which will take up means of bolstering bilateral ties at various levels.
The visit is expected to provide an opportunity to promote European-African cooperation at the political economic and security levels given the historical ties between Vienna and Cairo and Egypt's chairmanship of the African Union in 2019.
Both sides will also review several regional as well as international files of mutual concern.
The president is also expected to partake in the High-level Forum Africa-Europe 2018 schedueled for December 17,18.
The forum will discuss strengthening cooperation between Africa and the EU countries in migration, innovation and digital economy.
