Egypt's Sisi to hold high-level talks with Austrian president, counselor on Monday

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is set to hold talks on Monday with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen at Hofburg presidential palace in Vienna.

The meeting will discuss ways of boosting bilateral ties in political, trade, and investment fields.

Then, El-Sisi will meet with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz at Austria's Chancellery to discuss pushing bilateral relations forward, as well as regional and international issues of common interest.

The president is also scheduled to meet with Speaker of Austria's National Council Wolfgang Sobotka to tackle parliamentary relations.

A number of joint memorandums of understanding will be signed on the sidelines of the president's talks with senior Austrian officials.
