Muslim Brotherhood party wins three seats in Qalioubiya

The results of the third round of elections in Qalioubiya have been announced, with the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party taking three of the six seats

The Judicial Committee in the Egyptian governorate of Qalioubiya has announced this Friday morning their electoral results of the third and final stage of elections.

For the seats reserved for the proportional lists, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) won two seats. The party’s Mohamed Emad won the professional seat and Mohamed Abdel Megeed Dessouky won the workers' seat. The remaining seats went to Nader Abdel Khalek of the Salafist Nour Party, who secured the professional seat, and Gamal Kosh of the liberal Wafd Party, who took the workers' seat.

The individual seats of the governorate just north of Cairo went to the FJP’s Mohsen Rady who won the professional seat and Ali Wanis of the Nour Party, who took the workers' seat.
