Heavy rain hits Cairo on Monday

Dusty winds and rains are expected to continue across most parts of Egypt on Monday, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority EMA said.

The rain focused in North Sinai and northern parts of the country may continue to extend to reach Cairo and the Nile Delta.

The early hours of Monday morning have already witnessed heavy rain on some parts of  the capital.

The winter season ends in Egypt on 21 March.

Temperatures forecasts across Egypt are as follows:

Cairo: 20 - 14

Alexandria: 18 - 15

Nile Delta: 19 - 13

North Sinai: 19 - 11

South Sinai: 23 - 19

Upper Egypt: 24 - 15
