Egypt's FM discusses regional developments with Jordanian counterpart

Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed on Tuesday with Jordanian counterpart Ayman Sadadi the recent developments in the Middle East, including the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, the Egyptian foreign ministry said in a statement.

During a meeting in Cairo, the two foreign ministers also discussed the recent developments in Syria, Libya and Yemen, as well as boosting bilateral relations between Egypt and Jordan.

The meeting was part of an agreement to hold periodic meetings to consult and coordinate on various issues.

The next meeting between Shoukry and Safadi will be held in Amman, Jordan.
