Protesters staging a sit-in in front of the state TV building in Maspero have barred employees from entering, to express their anger over the Port Said disaster that left more than 70 dead.
Employees were forced to enter the building through a back door.
The protesters chanted: “Either we get retribution for them or we die like them.” They also slammed the policies of the ruling military council and blamed them for the latest flare of violence.
Activists and revolutionaries have been camping out in front of the Maspero building since the January 25 Revolution anniversary celebrations.
