Wednesday night's violence in Port Said Stadium left 71 dead and 318 injured, according to the Ministry of Health's final death toll. Among those killed was one Central Security Force soldier and 70 football fans.

Abdel Hameed Abaza, assistant to the minister of health, has stated that the bodies of 51 victims were flowen to North Cairo Airport from where they were transferred to Cairo's Zeinhom Morgue.
