Egypt condemned on Tuesday a terrorist attack that targeted an army camp in western Niger, leaving 18 soldiers dead, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
The statement added that Egypt's government and people stand shoulder to shoulder with the government and people of Niger in combating terrorism.
Cairo reiterates its call on the international community to intensify its efforts to confront the terrorism that targets security and stability across the world, the statement said.
