Egypt is gearing up to receive increasing number of Algerians and Senegalese fans hungry for a win at the African Cup of Nations final. The match is scheduled for Friday in Cairo as fans bid farewell to one of the continent's most prestigious tournaments.
In a statement, Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority ordered maximum readiness in its main Cairo International Airport, calling on employees to exert maximum efforts to serve the fans attending the final game.
On Sunday, Algeria snatched a 2-1 win against Nigeria to reach its first final since 1990.
The Desert Foxes are eyeing a win against Senegal, who grasped a win on Sunday against Tunisia through a bizarre own goal to reach the final for the first time since 2002.
