President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi issued on Thursday a decree ratifying an economic and technical cooperation deal between the Egyptian and Chinese governments.
The deal was inked on 1 September 2018.
Under the deal, China will extend to Egypt a 100 million CNY ($14.5 million) grant to implement projects upon which the two sides would agree upon.
The parliament has approved the decree, which was published in the gazette on Thursday.
