The temperature is expected to drop starting Friday in Cairo with highs of 38 degrees Celsius and lows of 25, following three days of high temperatures exceeding 40 degrees at peak, the head of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority Ahmed Abdel-Aal said on Thursday.
Over the week, Egypt has witnessed a significant rise in temperatures due to high humidity rates, which reaches an average of 90 percent during its peak.
