President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi is set to arrive in Kuwait on Saturday for a visit which will see the signing of a number of bilateral cooperation agreements, Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Tarek El Kouny told media on Friday.
El-Sisi will hold talks with Kuwait’s Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Sunday, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.
He will also meet with a number of senior Kuwaiti officials.
The ambassador said the visit reflects the special bond of the Egyptian and Kuwaiti people and their solidarity in the face of challenges and threats during the recent years.
It will be El-Sisi’s third official visit to the country since he assumed office in 2014.
