Egypt on Sunday offered condolences over the victims of Typhoon Hagibis, which hit several parts in Japan, leaving dozens dead and injured.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs voiced Egypt's solidarity with the government and people of Japan in this ordeal.

Egypt wishes the injured a speedy recovery, the statement added.
