Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated two new factories at the Nasr for Intermediate Chemicals complex in Abu Rawash, Giza governorate on Thursday.
The first factory will produce medical and industrial gases, which will provide the needs of more than 100 hospitals, and will also supply the Egyptian Ambulance Authority with 30,000 oxygen cylinders.
The second factory will produce hydrogen peroxide using state-of-the-art technology, and will help meet the needs of textile, paper and medicine factories.
Nasr for Intermediate Chemicals operates 37 factories in Giza, Fayoum and Ain Sokhna. The company is a subsidiary of the Egyptian Armed Forces' National Services Projects Organisation.
This video looks at the goals of the two new factories as part of the contributions of the company to the national economy over the past years.
