Egypt decries stabbing incident in Jordan’s Jerash

 Egypt denounced a stabbing incident that took place earlier on Wednesday in the Jordanian city of Jerash, leaving a number of people of different nationalities injured. 

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday night that Egypt’s government and people stand in support for the people and government of the Jordanian kingdom.

Egypt backs all efforts exerted by Jordan to maintain its security and stability and wishes all the wounded people a speedy recovery, the statement added.
