Egypt to see temporary rise in temperature on Monday

Temperatures in Cairo are expected to rise by 4 degrees on Monday

Egypt’s Meteorological Authority forecast a temporary rise in temperatures in most parts of the country on Monday during the day time.

A statement issued by the Authority said that southwest winds are expected along the northwest coast and Cairo, with sand and dust in open areas, as well as turbulent navigation in the Mediterranean Sea.

Temperatures will be cooler in the evening.

Skies will be moderately cloudy and rainfall is expected in the western part of the country.

Heading into the winter, temperatures have been colder than usual in Egypt over the past few days. The winter season officially starts on 21 December.

Temperatures expected in Egypt on Monday:

Cairo: 30-16  

Nile Delta: 25-17

Suez Canal cities: 30-16

North Sinai: 24-10

South Sinai: 27-19

Upper Egypt: 31-15
