Egypt's digitalisation potentials are great: Sisi

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has said that Egypt's digitalisation potentials are strong as the state aims to bolster this field.
 
Addressing the Cairo International Exhibition and Conference on Telecommunication and Information Technology (ICT 2019), El-Sisi added that Egypt possesses a great market, especially in the field of digital transformation, which is full of opportunities.
 
"We move as state toward the digitalisation field as it stands for the present and future for us, and it would help the state attacin sucess elements when it comes to governance or reducing human intervention in government work, or fighting corruption," El-Sisi added.
 
El-Sisi expressed gratitude that Egypt will host the upcoming international postal conference, noting that the state will provide the needed facilities and develop further to improve the administrative system's performance in all fields.
 
Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat said that the ministry has managed to develop technological infrastructure for 105 youth centres in various governorates of Egypt within one year.
 
President of the Universal Postal Union Bashar Hussein said that Egypt has a solid, durable and developed communications network, one no less in capacity than others that exist in advanced countries.
 
He said the communication revolution has changed the way transactions are conducted across the world.
 
"It became easier now to purchase any product from anywhere via the internet," he added.
