Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry reiterated on Tuesday that the two deals Libya's Prime Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Fayez Al-Sarraj signed with Turkey will deepen dispute among Libyans and disrupt the political process in the country.

This comes at a time when an international consensus started to be reached on means of helping the Libyans find a way out of the current crisis, Shoukry said during a phone call with UN Envoy to Libya Ghassan Salamé.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister asserted the importance of preventing any action by any party, either in the Libyan arena or outside it, which could hinder the political process.

He also voiced Egypt's full support to the UN envoy's mission in Libya.

The two sides discussed developments related to the Libyan crisis and the efforts exerted to render recommendations of the "Berlin conference" successful with the aim of securing a political solution and restoring stability in the country.

They also agreed to intensify communication until the Libyan crisis is resolved.
