Egypt keen on providing South Sudan with medical services: House speaker

Wrapping up his five-day visit to South Sudan, Abdel-Aal said that continuing and expanding the work of this medical clinic proves the interest of Egypt in its brotherly countries in Africa

Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives Ali Abdel-Aal stressed on Friday Egypt’s keenness on providing South Sudan with the medical health services under the initiatives launched by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi in this regard at the level of the African continent.

He made his remarks during an inspection tour of the Egyptian clinic in Juba.

Abdel-Aal was accompanied by a parliamentary delegation and Egyptian ambassador to South Sudan Mohamed Qaddah.

Wrapping up his five-day visit to South Sudan, Abdel-Aal said that continuing and expanding the work of this medical clinic proves the interest of Egypt in its brotherly countries in Africa.

He praised the quality and the affordable medical services offered in the clinic, adding it is very important for the South Sudanese people.

The clinic receive around 300-350 patients on a daily basis, and it is one of three in South Sudan.
