Egypt's Sisi receives message from Saudi king asserting depth of Egyptian-Saudi ties

Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi received a message from Saudi King Salman bin Abdel-Aziz asserting the depth of relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

This came during El-Sisi's meeting with Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers of Saudi Arabia Essam bin Saeed on Thursday.

The message also emphasised the keenness of Saudi Arabia on boosting strategic cooperation with Egypt in different domains and tackled regional and international issues of mutual interest, presidential spokesman Bassam Radi said.

During the meeting, El-Sisi said that Egypt is looking forward to maintaining constructive consultations and promoting cooperation in different fields, Radi said.
