Egypt's PM orders swift construction of sports city in New Administrative Capital

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly directed Saturday speeding up process of construction of the sports city in the New Administrative Capital, especially the indoor hall, planned to host the 2021 IHF World Men's Handball Championship.

Madbouly hailed efforts exerted for constructing the sports city, expected to be a landmark in the New Capital.

This came during the premier tour in the New Administrative Capital on Saturday to inspect the construction works and the progress made in the projects being implemented there. 

Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker, Housing Minister Asem El-Gazzar and head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Ehab El-Far accompanied the prime minister in his visit to the New Capita. 

During the same day, Madbouly also had an inspection tour at the under-construction Arts and Culture City in the New Administrative Capital.
