Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his British counterpart Dominic Raab discussed on Monday in London ways to boost Egyptian-British ties and cooperation in different fields, the Egyptian foreign ministry said.
According to the foreign ministry's statement, Shoukry and Raab discussed during the meeting on the sidelines of the UK-Africa Investment Summit the recent regional and international developments.
Shoukry said he wants to explore new prospects for cooperation between Africa and the UK, particularly under Egypt's current chairmanship of the African Union in ways that best serve the people of the continent.
Shoukry underlined that President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson gave great importance to boosting bilateral cooperation on all levels, hailing the thriving ties between both countries in the recent period, the statement added.
