Egypt's PM affirms Sisi's interest in qualifying youth cadres

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired on Thursday a meeting of the Board of Governors to discuss the status of several development and service projects that are being carried out nationwide.

The meeting, held at the headquarters of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), was attended by the ministers of local development and transport, along with the deputies of governors, who attend such meetings for the first time. 

In this regard, the premier said the deputies’ participation in the board of governors’ meetings come upon the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to help the youth be engaged in public work.

Madbouly noted that the target of the deputies’ presence in similar meetings is to qualify youth cadres that can assume leading posts in the future.

Meanwhile, the prime minister said the coming fiscal year would witness focus more on local services in governorates.
