Al-Ahram Institution CEO Abdel-Mohsen Salama and CEO of the Administrative Capital for Real Estate Development Ahmed Zaki Abdeen inaugurated on Thursday in New Cairo the first real estate exhibition by Al-Ahram dedicated to the New Administrative Capital.
The exhibit, under the title 'The Capital of Hope,' is held from 20 to 22 February in one of New Cairo's hotels, featuring a number of real estate development projects in the New Administrative Capital.
In a press conference held at the inauguration, Abdeen said that the Egyptian government will transfer its ministries to the New Administrative Capital on 30 June 2020.
Salama said that he was working to make the exhibit an annual event in cooperation with the New Administrative Capital Real Estate Development.
The first phase of the New Administrative Capital comprises a government district, residential neighbourhoods and a business district.
The 700 square-kilometre capital, launched in 2015 by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, will house more than 6.5 million people.
