Egypt's Minister of Education Tarek Shawky discussed on Thursday with US Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Marie Royce boosting cooperation in the various fields, especially in education and training.

According to the Ministry of Education, Shawky and Royce discussed enhancing student scholarships and teacher exchange programmes through short-term missions.

Shawky discussed with Royce the progress and the measures Egypt has taken for the sake of developing education services.

Royce underscored her country’s readiness to boost its partnership with Egypt in the field of education, hailing the special ties and cooperation between the two countries.
