Egypt's falgship carrier EgyptAir said Wednesday it would postpone the resumption of flights to and from mainland China due to the coronavirus outbreak.
EgyptAir announced 30 January it was suspending all flights to and from China, with the last Chinese tourist group in Egypt leaving 4 February.
It said last week it would resume some flights to and from China starting Thursday, 27 February, with only one trip a week from Cairo to Beijing and Guangzhou, and back from Guangzhou and Beijing to Cairo, "due to demand on travel in both directions”.
That decision is now on hold, with no further information provided on when flights will resume.
