Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi discussed boosting military cooperation with French Defence Minister Florence Parly on Monday, his spokesman Bassam Rady said.
Rady said El-Sisi and Parly exchanged viewpoints on developments and joint efforts to reach political reconciliation of various ongoing crises in the Middle East.
Egypt and France have been holding in-depth consultations over the Libyan crisis in recent months, agreeing on consolidating joint efforts to bring about a comprehensive political settlement in Libya.
