Egypt’s Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait said on Thursday that state employees' salaries will be available in ATM machines as of 24 March.

 

Maait instructed account managers in administrative bodies to finalise procedures of payroll registration on the electronic payment system by Thursday.

 

The minister urged state employees not to converge at ATM machines and to abide by the precautionary procedures to stem the spread of COVID-19 by sanitising their hands before and after conducting their transactions.
