Egypt had suspended air traffic at all airports until the end of March as part of sweeping measures to stem the spread of the coronavirus

The US embassy in Cairo said on Sunday that US nationals can return home via swiss airlines currently operating flights from Egypt.
"The US Embassy understands that Edelweiss Air/Swiss Air is offering flight service to the US via Zurich," the embassy said in a message on Twitter.
"There is a flight to Zurich departing Hurghada tomorrow, March 23, at 15:45 PM," it said.
Egypt has suspended all international flights to and from the country from 19 to 31 March at all airports nationwide to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
The embassy said that for onward travel to the US, there will be two flights on Tuesday departing from Zurich to a “few locations in the US, via transit through Europe” at 7 and 9am.
The embassy urged US nationals to consult with the airlines on the availability of seats.
