Egypt’s meteorological authority said on Tuesday that the country’s northern coast, including Alexandria and the Nile Delta, will see a sandstorm on Thursday.
The sandstorm will begin on Thursday morning and finish on Friday morning, the authority said.
Alexandria governorate issued a statement warning citizens to be careful on Thursday.
The authority also stated that weather on Wednesday will be moderate in the morning and cold at night.
Cairo will see a high of 24 degrees Celsius and a low of 15 degrees, while Alexandria will see a high of 22 and a low of 15.
Upper Egypt will see a high of 31 degrees and a low of 19, and North Sinai will see a high of 21 and a low of 13.
South Sinai will see a high of 23 degrees and a low of 17, and Nile Delta will see a high of 23 and a low of 13.
