Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual concern in a telephone call with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian, as part of the cooperation and coordination between the two countries, the Egyptian foreign ministry said.

 

Foreign ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez said the telephone call dealt with international efforts to fight the coronavirus and the means to coordinate joint efforts at the bilateral and international level.

 

The two officials also exchanged viewpoints on regional issues.
