African Dream Foundation 2063, in cooperation with the Ramsco Charity Organization, distributed on Tuesday over 500 kilograms of food items to students from the South Sudanese community in Egypt.
The move is part of the third phase of the "One Continent Initiative, One Fate" initiative to support the students in facing the deadly virus, through coordination with the South Sudanese ambassador and the head of the community, read a statement on Tuesday.
The initiative has previously distributed disinfectants to more than 300 African families, as well as organic food packages to the Guinean community in Cairo, said Sally Atef, chairwoman of the ADF, adding that the foundation works in cooperation with several other institutions, businessmen and individuals.
