Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), is expected to arrive in Cairo for talks with Egyptian officials on Wednesday evening, a source told Ahram Onlne.

According to the source, Haftar will meet with the Egyptian National Committee on Libya to discuss the latest developments in his country. It is not yet clear if he will meet with President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi or the Egyptian defence minister.
