Egypt reports 1,442 new coronavirus cases, 35 deaths

Egypt’s Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that it detected 1,442 new cases of coronavirus, brining the total tally to 39,726 till date.

The Ministry also reported in its daily statement on COVID-19 status in Egypt 35 deaths, bringing the total death toll to 1,377.

The statement said that 402 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 10.691

The Egyptian health ministry also revealed that the number of people whose test results have turned from positive to negative, including the new recoveries, has now reached 12,062.
