Thursday paid holiday for public employees in Egypt to mark anniversary of 23 July revolution

Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued a decree on Monday stipulating that Thursday, the 68th anniversary of the 23 July revolution, will be a fully paid day off for public employees.

The decision applies to ministries, government authorities, public institutions, local administrative bodies, and the public sector.

It will not apply to schools and universities as ongoing exams will run as scheduled.
