Egypt condemned on Wednesday, with extreme terms, the attack that took place earlier in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at a Remembrance Day event organized by the French embassy, the Egyptian foreign ministry said.
“The Arab Republic of Egypt expressed its sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured, and it asserted again its extreme denouncement to these heinous practices that the normal human instinct rejects, and affirms that it stands by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the measures it takes to protect its security and stability,” the statement read.
The Egyptian foreign ministry added that Egypt supports Saudi Arabia in whatever measures it takes to protect its security and stability.
