Egypt reports 214 new coronavirus cases, 12 deaths on Thursday

Egypt reported 214 new coronavirus cases on Thursday bringing the total infection tally to 110,095 since the outbreak began in February.

The health ministry also reported 12 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 6,417.

The statement said that 98 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 100,760.

Earlier Thursday , Egypt's miniter of health Hala Zayed held a video conference meeting with the managers of the isolation hopsitals in the governorates as part of the ministry's plan to face the rise in the coronavirus cases in the country again. 

According to the ministry of health , the minister gave her directives to increase the number of isolation hospitals in the governorate according to the need in each governorate.
