Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has inspected a number of main road projects being constructed in Cairo and Giza, as part of a national plan to reduce traffic congestion and ease the movement of citizens.
The president spoke with some workers at the construction sites to check the workflow, urging them to stick to the timeframes set to develop these road axes.
He also affirmed the need to strictly comply with the preventive measures to avoid the spread of coronavirus, so as to ensure the safety of workers at the construction sites.
The projects inspected by the president today included the Heliopolis-Ramsis axis, extending to Giza’s 6th of October city.
He also checked a number of main axes in Giza, especially in the Mansouriya area.
