Egypt sends its condolences to Algeria over victims of helicopter crash AFP
Egypt has expressed its condolences to Algeria over a military helicopter crash in the Mediterranean that has possibly killed three servicemen on Wednesday, the Egyptian foreign ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
The ministry stressed its support to Algeria over the "tragic incident", extending its condolences to the victims' families and the Algerian armed forces.
On Wednesday morning, an Algerian military helicopter crashed in the Mediterranean's Bouharoun coast, causing the death of one of the three-member crew, and the other two going missing, according to the Algerian state official news agency APS.
The aircraft was specialised in search and rescue missions, according to APS.
