Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has extended condolences to Emir Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber of Kuwait over the death of former Kuwaiti Defence Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad, the eldest son of late Kuwaiti Emir Sabah.
In a cable he sent to the Kuwaiti emir on Sunday, the president said “I send you my wholehearted condolences and sincere sympathy over the death of... Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.”
“I ask almighty God that he bless the deceased with his mercy and forgiveness and that he keeps him in his spacious paradise, and that he grants you and the honourable family patience and solace.”
The death of Sheikh Nasser comes only three months after then-Kuwaiti Emir Sabah died at the age of 91 after a struggle with illness.
