Egypt expressed its condolences over the death of four Pakistani soldiers after their military helicopter crashed in northern Pakistan, a statement by the foreign ministry read on Sunday.
The Egyptian foreign ministry expressed its support to Pakistan in its "painful loss," extending condolences to the families of the victims and the Pakistani army.
On Saturday, a military chopper crashed in the Gilgit-Baltistan region due “to technical reasons” while transporting the body of a soldier to a military hospital in Skardu, the Pakistani army said.
The crash killed four soldiers, including the two pilots, the army added.
