President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting on Tuesday with the ministerial group responsible for the national project for upgrading Egyptian villages within the framework of the Decent Life Initiative.

President Sisi directed the bodies concerned to directly contact residents of the 1,500 villages that are covered as part of the initiative's first phase; with a view to getting acquainted with their requirements and opinions about developing their villages, Presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said.

Sisi ordered that this project include regulating the distribution of government premises that offer services in governorates and villages, and linking them with ministries in the New Administrative Capital, the spokesman added.
