Egypt offered its sincerest condolences to Indonesia over the victims of the earthquake that hit Sulawesi island early Friday, leaving dozens dead and wounded, a statement by the Egyptian foreign ministry read .

The statement asserted Egypt's solidarity with the government and people of Indonesia wishing the injured a speedy recovery. 

At least 67 people have died after a 6.2-magnitude earthquake hit the island of Sulawesi earlier Friday.
